Sleepr
Privacy Policy
Sleepr holds only what the camp admin team needs to manage accommodation, and deletes contact details 12 months after a person’s last stay. This policy is written to follow the Australian Privacy Principles.
Who we are
Sleepr is run by Shaun Clark for the ACJV camp admin team. Privacy questions go to merotheriecamp@acjv-cwo.com.au.
What we collect
For accounts: name, work email, company, mobile if given, and a scrambled password we cannot read. If you use Sign in with Microsoft, Microsoft confirms who you are and gives us your name and email, and we never see your Microsoft password. For people booked: name, mobile, email, company, work group, dates, swings, booking status and anything written in Notes. Also the ACJV contact’s email, and a record of who did what and when.
Why we collect it
To approve accounts and decide requests, email people about their bookings, know who is booked on which nights, give companies a record of their bookings, and keep decisions on record and the site secure. We do not sell personal information or use it for marketing.
Who can see it
ACJV Campadmins see everything. ACJV crew admins see the people they booked and people a Campadmin has added for them. Subcontractor admins see bookings and people at their own company. Residents see only their own bookings. The ACJV contact on a booking gets the request email. The companies that host the site and send its email see only what they need to provide those services. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Where it is kept
The database is hosted in Sydney, Australia. The services that run the website and send email may process some information outside Australia.
How long we keep it
Mobile, email and work group: 12 months after a person’s last stay. Accounts: closed and deleted after 12 months with no sign-in or booking. Requests never stayed: 12 months after the requested dates. Nights stayed, with name and company, as billing records: 7 years. The log of decisions and role changes: 7 years.
Keeping it secure
Access depends on your role, and data is encrypted when sent and stored. If a breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will tell the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, though billing records stay until the period above ends. Without the required details we cannot book you through Sleepr. Complaints go to the address above and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
